About Multi Security

Founded in 1990 by Mike and Lyn Millard, Multi Security was built on a simple but powerful vision: to protect people, property, and community with integrity and commitment.

After initially being sold in 1997, it wasn’t long before the Port Alfred community realised how much they valued the Millard family’s dedication to safety. In 2006, responding to that call, Mike, Lynette, their son Clinton, and family member Francois proudly reopened Multi Security — ready to serve once again.

From the very beginning, Multi Security focused on more than just conventional security. The company rapidly grew by raising industry standards, embracing modern technology, and delivering proactive, intelligent protection solutions. This forward-thinking approach helped Multi strengthen its fight against crime while building long-term trust with clients.

As demand increased, Multi Security expanded its services across Kasouga, Kleinemonde, Bathurst, Birha, and Alexandria, bringing reliable protection to both residential and commercial clients. Over the years, specialised divisions were introduced, including farm security, emergency response centres, technical services, and advanced monitoring solutions.

Today, Multi Security remains a proud family-owned business — deeply rooted in local values and community ethics. While the company has grown in size and capability, its heart remains the same.
